Updates

  • Fixed an issue where the Heal skill didn’t restore AP when the player was at full HP. This effect now functions correctly but only triggers once per round.
  • Introduced a classic RPG mechanic, Monster-in-a-Box Chests. Some treasure chests now hide enemies! Open one, and you’ll be pulled into a surprise battle. Note: If you Flee, you forfeit the chest’s contents. You must defeat the enemy to claim your reward.
  • Adjusted enemy Speed values… again.
  • Fixed an issue where Enemy Quick Actions were using the player’s Speed stat instead of the Enemy’s
  • Boosted the damage resistance when using Defense Actions with equipped armour, making defensive strategies more impactful. The passive damage reduction from armour remains unchanged.
  • Enemies no longer have a random chance to double their attack damage. This mechanic has been removed for the sake of damage consistency and clarity.
  • Tidied up a handful of small visual bugs—like top layers appearing above NPCs’ heads, characters offset by a few pixels, or facing one direction while running the other. Nothing major—just a bit of visual housekeeping.
  • Fixed an issue where the Rat Thief enemy wasn’t spawning properly. They mysteriously disappeared despite being implemented correctly in earlier builds. They're back now, and probably up to no good.
  • Updated Luna-Bright’s peeking sprite (the one where she’s peeking through the door) to reflect her current design. It was still using her old look—an easy detail to miss, but it’s now consistent.
  • Corrected an issue where Fist weapons had a higher chance to trigger Double Attack than Daggers. They now function according to intended weapon traits.
  • Fixed a bug where the Mug Limit ability wouldn’t properly steal items if you had already stolen earlier in the round. It now correctly allows a steal on activation.
  • Corrected a line of dialogue that was displaying before its associated flag was activated.
  • Extended the collision in a specific area where the boundary was thin enough to clip through by tapping forward. Players can no longer slip out of bounds through it.
  • Reduced the elemental/move-type weakness multiplier when combining Charge (for physical) or Focus (for magic) with an attack that targets a known weakness (e.g. Slash-weak enemies). This prevents overstacking and encourages more tactical play instead of brute-force stacking boosts and weaknesses.
