An Urban Fantasy RPG

VantaPsy Soul Snatcher is an Urban Fantasy RPG that combines dungeon crawling with Social Sim interactions.

Expect an expansive, unfolding mystery alongside a diverse cast of characters and a satisfying progression through handcrafted and interconnected dungeons.

Combat:

Partake in "Reaction" Based Combat where you and the enemy contest each other's actions.

Use Cards obtained through Social Links to add abilities to your combat. These Cards can be upgraded by continuing to spend time with the corresponding character.

Project is in Development

VantaPsy Soul Snatcher is currently in development, using RenPy. I am currently working alone.

I have most of the game's structure and mechanics worked out, and it's more of a matter of tweaking and adding (i.e. adding more enemy variation). The major hurdle at the moment is the art, animation and visual design for locations and enemies. As well as side quests and world building.

I'm working hard at making this a full RPG experience, so please be patient.

Will it work, sure. Will it be good? I hope so. This Demo is the true vision of VantaPsy Soul Snatcher and includes Chapter 0 (Basically Act 1). There are still incomplete areas, and placeholder art assets. Treat this like Early Access, or something like that. Regardless, most of the core mechanics are in this demo, and everything is cannon. Hope You enjoy!
